Distance to the airport was just 30 km. The japanese-style room didn't seem appealing on photos but it was spacious with a view...

Amazing traditional ryokan, if you want to experience a traditional ryokan, then Miyajima is the place to be for its magic atmosphere. Iwaso is situated in a very nice area surrounded by a wood where deers are walking free. Hotel is excellent, you can use onsen both indoor and outdoor, dinner is served in your room following th tradition. Kaori is a wonderful attendant. You are given traditional yukata to walk by night through the island. Free shuttle bus to and from the ferry terminal.
We were asked to pay for the drinks at dinner, while we thought "half board" already included them. As they were not that cheap, it would be better to specify during the confirmation. Neither the Japanese, nor the Western style breakfast are so tasty.

I booked immaculate, huge room with an attached bathroom, tatami floors, as for instance. The staff was exceptional and made me feel at home. Location: the hotel was really close to the Port and the Rope-way to Mt Misen, the city center and the important sights, and main shopping street.

The staff were really kind and courteous. Check-in was early. The room was very pretty and authentic with access to the onsen. Had a fantastic meal in the restaurant. The location was stunning in a beautiful area, just off a magical island of shrines, temples, and Japanese parkland.

I loved this ryokan. I totally recommend, although a little bit pricey, it is totally worthy ! in my trip to Japan, I had the chance to stay in different ryokans with different prices, and this one by far was the best and not the most expensive. The food was superb !! Dinner is served in your room and the service was outstanding ! Breakfast was served in the restaurant and the Japanese breakfast was incredible ! The onsen, or common bath was outstanding...super clean, beautifully finished ! it had everything you could possibly need... If you go to Miyajima, you have to stay here...you won't regret it

Really enjoyed my fairly nice stay for one night. "It was absolutely perfect, quiet and with access to the onsen. - "As for me, the location was stunning and great, adjacent to Iwaso and another ryokan on the island, and the various sights.

Marvellous location - minutes away from Ko Shrine. Positioned in the beautiful area, just off Miyajima had to offer and the nearby Itsukushima shrine...

Professional service, excellent food (Japanese style). Comfortable and spacious rooms. Kind and helpful staff. At the time of leaving, I left my bag at the hotel to go for a walk in town. Later, on a simple phone call, they delivered the bag free of charge to the ferry terminal, so I did not have to return to the hotel to pick it up.

Transport was provided, the onsen was clean and the place was really peaceful. The room faces the beautiful park and we really enjoyed it. the night view of the itsukushima shrine made the stay - though expensive, really worth the money.
